The Village Project is a business incubator for aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners. We provide on-site workshops and LIVE webinars on current business related topics, host mixers to enhance relationship building and established a membership based network called SmallBizzBuzz providing structural resources for guidance, business and leadership development.
Join us on Thursday, February 20, 2020 to hear and engage with LaTilda Ownes, CEO of LHO Business Solutions over lunch! Hear and engage with Mrs. Owens on how important it is to organize your company's finances and learn the basics on how bookkeeping is used to measure the successes and failures of your company's operations.
LaTilda Hudnall Owens, often referred to as "Tilly" is the founder and CEO of LHO Business Solutions. She received her Bachelors of Science Degree from Hampton University majoring in Business Management. Tilly went on to complete her Master’s in Business Administration from Strayer University while working full time in corporate America as a Financial Analyst for a Fortune 500 company for six years. Throughout the past 6 years, Tilly has touched over 200 organizations and aspiring entrepreneurs providing a vast array of business services.
Tilly was a small business mentor for the Thrive Mentorship Program funded by the SBA, A founding member of SheEmpowers, a women’s networking group, and a recipient of the Women Making a Difference in the Community award in 2018 and a Community Impact Advisor for Virginia Community Capital.
Today, Tilly operates her company, LHO Business Solutions: an outsourcing agency that provides functionally business systems to small to large firms in areas of accounting and bookkeeping, marketing management, human resource management and information technology and cyber security.

- Doors will open at 11am for lunch ordering. To minimize disturbance during speaker engagement, ordering will cease at 12pm. (The Village Project is not responsible for catering)
